Northeast China was the last major area I hadn’t explored in China. Using the opportunity of being in Beijing and around in the summer of 2011, I took a two week trip to check out the major sites in Northeast China.

Although I have been to some North African countries, North Africa is still largely considered part of Middle East and I didn’t feel I had been to the real Afraic. It’s time to start exploring the heart of the African continent. East Africa becomes the definite choice of my summer holiday in 2011.

Libo - Hechi - Yizhou
Libo in Southeast Guizhou has started to attract tourists for its beautiful Xiaoqikong (and to a lesser extent Daqikong). The Northwest Guangxi area, noticeably Longjiang Three Gorges in Hechi and Xiajian River in Yizhou are not massively visited by tourists but I've heard they are beautiful as well. Being in Nanning, I decided to check out all the above in a well designed short trip.
